Art films and damn college kids.
I'm currently blogging from the video making intensive at our school. We were just assigned to create a scene that had at least 5 shots, no editing, and no dialogue. We had a lot of fun mocking brooding, moody, art kid movies. We had our main character sitting on a rock. Moving positions constantly. Unrest! Angst! She eventually started just flailing. I walk into the background, witness such acts of raw, unleashed, teenage aggression, and join in. Flailing an running my hands through my hair. This all dies down. I walked off and our main character does a death stare into the camera. When we watched the footage at the end of the class, we played "The End" by The Doors over the speakers.

Hilarity ensued.

"I had a great uncle that choked on a raw sprinkle, once. Wasn't pretty."

Thanks, Dad.

I miss my people. A lot. I feel like that in the time I've been... hm... away, we'll say... I've been missing many vital moments. I just hope I'm not left behind any time soon.

I doubt it will happen, honestly. They're my best friends and I trust them completely.

It's kind of like a fear of zombies. Totally not going to happen, but a very likely fear.

I had a great day all in all, though. I'm excited for getting off groundation on Thursday. Hopefully going to see my people then.

Using the term "my people" makes me feel like Moses.

Both Hannah and Sofi, now have created various lists. I'll so the same.

-There's also this orgiastic feeling you get when you're playing music with a bunch of people and you realize it sounds good. It comes in layers.

LAYER 1:
You feel like your skin has stopped moving. All the hair on your body stands up and you can't really exhale. You're too excited to breathe.

LAYER 2:
You get lost. The only thing that's there with you is the music.

LAYER 3:
You can't stop moving.

LAYER 4:
You start to put in as much effort and passion into the music as you have in you and you could ever have in you.

LAYER 5:
Everything slows down

LAYER 6:
There's a period of silence that you present to the world in recognition of what has just happened.
This sounds a lot like an orgasm to be honest.

I like music too much. I really need to get a band together soon.
